Home to Europe's largest academic community of psychologists and psychiatrists, the Institute of Psychiatry (IOP) is an internationally recognised leader in research investigating mental illness and brain disease.

The Psychiatry Research Trust (PRT) was formed in 1982 and since that time has funded more than £6 million of research into mental illness and brain disease, as well a supporting lectures, student bursaries, and the initial funding for our volunteer database itself.

 

 

 

The King's College London Annual Fund supports special projects around the college with donations from alumni. Funding for our re-branding and 2006 marketing campaign was generously provided by the King's Annual Fund.

EnterTrials is a portal connecting volunteers with clinical trials and medical research UK-wide. Every UK clinical trial is strictly-regulated and patient comfort and safety is always of the utmost consideration.

The Building User Involvement in Motor Neurone Disease (BUILD) project was set up to form a community for people affected by MND in the UK. Its members are involved in fundraising, advocacy and campaigning on issues surrounding this terrible illness.
